about Gluu

Gluu was founded in 2009 by Mike Schwartz, after he sold his Internet Service Provider to Verio in 1998. After this, Mike advised many major companies in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM). In 2008 Mike came to the conclusion that Web Single Sign On (SSO) was too complex and too expensive for many businesses, driving him to offer an approach which combined SSO with Open Source as a more affordable alternative.
